Historical Records
The Findmypast website has been used as the primary search tool for genealogical information. Findmypast provides access to a wide range of historical records of births, baptisms, marriages and deaths. These together with parish register sources and census records have provided the facts that have enabled the Hole Family Tree to be traced back nearly five hundred years. These facts are recorded in a RootsMagic database from which data in the form of a pedigree chart and family group sheets have been generated for this website.
The author wishes to acknowledge that Findmypast and RootsMagic have played a key part in facilitating the creation of this website.
Findmypast works with partner organisations to provide access to historical documents that have been digitised and can be examined on-line. This website includes extracts, from the following sources which reveal interesting information about the history of the Hole Family forbears. The copyright of the digital images of this material is the property of these partner organisations.
